An important tool in building and maintaining organizational effectiveness is a constant evaluation of our programs. DREAM is a young, evolving, learning organization and believes in using academically rigorous evaluations to determine areas of strength and growth within the organization. We couple our own internal findings with external research to determine our overall value to youth, mentors, families, and communities.
DREAM is on the cutting edge of research in mentoring. We are currently evaluating numerous areas of our program through an ongoing process of data collection, and have produced numerous evaluations reports. Through partnerships with colleges, universities, and community resources, our evaluations continue to grow in value to our program and to the mentoring community.
Our collection of evaluation reports is available below and are based upon our Youth Theory of Change and Mentor Theory of Change:
- Youth Evaluation and Survey Reports, including:
- 2009 DREAM Evaluation Report
- 2004-2005 DREAM Evaluation Report
- 2003-2004 DREAM Evaluation Report
- Mentor Evaluation and Survey Reports, including:
- 2010 Mentor Evaluation Report
- 2007 Mentor Survey Report
- 2005 Mentor Survey Report
DREAM continues to challenge the mentoring community to push the boundaries of evaluation work in proving mentoring’s value. To that end, if you would like to speak to us about our evaluations or you would like us to share our evaluation instruments with you or your organization, please contact our office located in South Burlington, VT. Our most recent evaluations are broken down into reports for each of our Local Programs and their communities and we would be happy to share those reports.
