Alumni Organization
The Alumni Organization is the hub of all things DREAM post-graduation - the glue that keeps us all together as we adventure far and wide.
Our mission is to engage Alumni as lifelong members of the DREAM community.
Everyone who has ever mentored in DREAM, was mentored, or was nominated as an Honorary Alumni* is a general member of this organization for life. Together, we'll do everything we can to support DREAM's sustainability and mission. This includes maintaining relationships between children, mentors, alumni, staff, camp, and members of the extended DREAM family, as well as promoting the distribution of information, resources, and opportunities among them.
The Alumni Org. supports DREAM's core values through four primary initiatives:
 Community: This initiative's goal is to build the sense of community within the alumni body. Activities of this initiative include the alumni newsletter, graduation BBQs, and city-based events.
- Mentor-Alumni Connection : The purpose of this initiative is to connect generations of DREAMers so that DREAM remains present in alumni' lives and the alumni presence is felt in DREAM's ongoing programs.
- Knowledge : The goal of this initiative is to take advantage of the wealth of information contained in the alumni body to preserve DREAM's history, support institutional memory, and provide every possible resource to the programs.
- The Alumni Fund : The activities in this initiative include raising, managing, and spending money to ensure that the Alumni Fund is used to support DREAM in the most effective way possible.
