DREAM recently had the good fortune of hosting the Ben and Jerry’s Community Action Team for a work day up at camp. After Susan Elliott of CEDO Burlington referred DREAM to Ben and Jerry’s, a series of meetings ensued and a date was set for their team to meet ours!

On May 18, our fleet (a 15-passenger van and the DREAM bus) picked up a crew of 60 or so Ben and Jerry’s employees from the South Burlington offices and brought them up to camp; the DREAM crew had prepared several projects - including picnic tables, trail markers, and a ropes course - that would be completed over a course of one day. Although the weather started off shaky, the rain held off for most of the day and, fueled by a delicious lunch from Foothills Bakery in Fairfax, the crew exceeded our expectations in both projects (nearly all were completed!) and fun!
