1) Camp Director <-- click for Full Job Description
DREAM is seeking a full time Camp Director for our 50 acre residential summer and winter camp. Camp DREAM has become an integral part of our organization’s culture and programming. The Camp Director will be responsible for a number of activities – working with a team of DREAM staff to set and accomplish yearly goals, design and implement children’s programming, assess financial sustainability and build a supportive network of relationships, develop the camp property, and help manage and maintain the site’s forest, water quality, and trail system.
We are seeking an individual with a contagious energy for DREAM’s work, a strong affinity for team oriented work environments, and an ability to think big picture about sustainability, development, DREAM and children’s programming!
This position is not an Americorps position. Salary to be determined.
DREAM’s Associate Executive Director (AED) is responsible for the overall picture of internal organizational health. This position combines human resources work with internal evaluations systems and ties it to the day-to-day support and communication on which these practices draw their strength and purpose. The AED is responsible for ensuring integrated leadership development within DREAM’s Central Office that builds leadership flexibility across the organization. The AED will work with DREAM’s Executive Director and Team Leaders to set goals that will drive the organization to achieve its mission and future vision.

The Camp DREAM Land and Facilities Manager oversees Camp’s physical maintenance in order to help Camp DREAM meet its recreational, educational, and conservation goals. The position has two key elements: land stewardship and facilities maintenance. The Land and Facilities Manager will also work with Camp Team to integrate the local landscape into yearly Camp programming. Time split: 60% planning and communication, 20% maintenance activities, and 20% programming.
The Camp Outreach Coordinator will act as a link between Camp DREAM and the mentors, children, and families served by the DREAM Program. This involves coordinating visits by DREAM staffers to the DREAM communities around the state of Vermont to ensure clear communication of information regarding camp sessions, work projects, and special events. The Outreach Coordinator also will work closely with DREAM’s Development Staff to involve the Vermont community in Camp DREAM, building lasting partnerships and resources for the DREAM Program.
The Camp Programs Coordinator will oversee the planning and implementation of programming geared toward 8-12 year-olds for DREAM’s residential summer camp, Winter Adventure Camp, and off-season events. The Camp Programs Coordinator will work closely with the Teen Programs Coordinator and other members of the Camp Team to create programming that is inclusive to all DREAMers. The Camp Program Director will also work in collaboration with the Camp Director and DREAM’s Executive Director to ensure the financial sustainability of Camp DREAM and evaluate the growth and success of Camp’s development.
The Camp Teen Programs Director will work closely with Camp and Programs Staff to plan and implement teen-focused programming at DREAM’s residential summer camp, Winter Adventure Camp, and during off-season events. This position will be instrumental in the expansion of programs offered to the teens served by the DREAM Program. The Camp Teen Program Director will also work with the Camp Director and DREAM’s Executive Director to secure funding and evaluate the growth and success of the teen leadership program at Camp DREAM.
Program Directors focusing on Family Support will generate resources and trainings that strengthen relationships between mentors and the families. Family Support Coordinators will work closely with Development Staff to provide an accessible network of support to DREAM mentors and families and with Programs Staff to encourage community building within Local Programs.
Program Directors focusing on New Programs will start up and support new DREAM Local Programs – working with new DREAM communities and colleges. As ambassadors, New Program Coordinators will be responsible for being the face of DREAM in new communities and providing the direct and hands-on support necessary to support new mentors during the start-up phase.
Program Directors focusing on Teen Programs will strengthen current teen programming, work with mentors to develop new opportunities for teen leadership, and provide regular training opportunities for mentors of DREAM teens. The Teen Program Coordinators in both Camp and Programs Team will closely collaborate in the planning and implementation of programming.

2) Bilingual Case Managers/Community Integration Specialist

The Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program (VRRP), a field office of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), a nongovernmental, not-for-profit national organization dedicated to addressing the needs and rights of refugees and immigrants, seeks to fill several current and anticipated openings in our resettlement team. Full time employment with competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities include case management for refugee families by coordinating and facilitating housing, healthcare, social and educational services, community orientation, and social adjustment services; refugee cash assistance and related services; cross-cultural training and support services to refugees, service providers, and volunteers. Provide interpreting and translating support to clients, service providers, employers, and staff. Maintain case files and prepare periodic reports.
Successful applicants will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, be team-oriented, and have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Foreign language proficiency essential (prefer Kirundi, Kinya-rwanda, Swahili, Somali, MaiMai, French or Arabic). Driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal transportation required. College degree in social work, MS Office proficiency, and experience with social services, immigrants, and interpreting preferred.
