Meet the Year-Round Team

Eliza Kuchuk, she/her/hers

Adventure Director

Eliza Kuchuk is the Adventure Director and in this brand new role she has spearheaded the expansion of Adventure programming throughout all of DREAM's regions while facilitating experiences at Camp DREAM. She has shaped these programs by grounding them in best practices of Adventure Education along with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the outdoors. Before coming to DREAM, Eliza worked with youth in a variety of settings such as after school programs, backpacking and mentoring programs, mental health in residential and community settings, and an arts and performing arts summer camp teaching theater. In her spare time, Eliza enjoys hiking and camping, teaching and practicing yoga, making art, rock climbing, and dancing.

Lanie Kropp, she/her/hers

Adventure Coordinator

I am thrilled to be the Adventure Coordinator at Camp DREAM! I have gone to summer camps my whole life, both as a camper and a counselor, and I am a passionate believer that it is the perfect setting to become your bravest, silliest, and most curious self (the photos of me in crazy outfits over the years are surely proof). I am also interested in conversation and STEM education, and I love working with the rest of the DREAM team to incorporate them into our programming I am looking forward to getting as many DREAMers as possible to camp to explore, laugh, and learn together.

Walter Hutcheson, he/him/his

Originally from New Hampshire, Walter went to school at New York University, where he studied ecology and enjoyed volunteering with an environmental education organization called Sprout Up. In his time with Sprout Up, along with other work as a marine science educator and school garden manager, he developed a passion for sharing the wonders of the natural world with the younger generation. As one of the Camp Stewards, Walter is planning to cultivate a food forest around the Camp DREAM homestead, using permaculture principles. He's bubbling over with excitement to get back to working in the dirt come springtime. In his free time, during the colder months, you'll find him snowshoeing around looking for animal tracks or making nature crafts. When the warmer weather comes around he enjoys making pressed flowers, lake swimming, and napping on comfortable outdoor furniture.

As a Land Steward at Camp DREAM I'm getting to fulfill all childhood(and adult) dreams of living out in the wilderness and exploring nature! The best part is my love of nature and exploring is allowing me to do meaningful work that will have a lasting positive impact! I like to live by Ms. Frizzle's Magic School Bus tagline, "take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!"

Logan Morrissey, she/her/hers

Logan is a New England + New York mutt who loves exploring the outdoors to connect with others. Logan studied Adventure Therapy at Unity College in Maine and is currently working on her MEd in Experiential Learning and Development at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. Logan has worked in Adventure Therapy for 4 years and also led outing trips for students at Unity College. Logan is currently serving as the Camp Steward at Camp DREAM which is the literal DREAM for her... living and working in outdoor spaces. She is most excited about connecting with the natural spaces where she can then foster and build new human connections! You can catch her building snow forts in the winter and climbing rocks in the summer.

The DREAM Program INC. is a 501(c)(3) service organization established in the winter of 1998 and developed as a nonprofit in 2001. Its goal is to bring high quality mentoring and activity programing to at-promise youth through summer enrichment, academic support, village mentoring, and unlimited adventures.
