After hearing from our mentors in the fall of 2020, we are excited to offer four series of trainings and gatherings to support the collective goal of making DREAM a more inclusive, connected, supportive and powerful source of support for our mentees. Lawrence Alexander II (he/him/his) currently serves
as the Director of Equity and Inclusion at Carney Sandoe & Associates, the nation's largest educational staffing firm. He consults with schools and organizations around issues of equitable decision making, implicit bias, inclusive hiring, and culturally responsive curricula.
Facilitated by Kayla Daughtry, Sam Kennedy

Sam Kennedy is a former DREAM mentor and a licensed mental health counselor in private practice. He works with adolescents, young adults and individuals seeking help processing trauma, anxiety, depression or grief, using experiential modalities. Sam is an avid Burner and founder of TRYBE, an organization that helps people connect, play, and explore.
Kayla Daughtry (she/her/hers) is DREAM’s Operations and AmeriCorps Director as well as a Master's of Public Health Nutrition Candidate. Kayla has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Neuroscience. Kayla’s interests include cooking, intuitive eating/Health At Every Size, weightlifting for empowerment, gardening, the mountains, emotional intelligence, dismantling white supremacy, astrology, and the macabre.

- Building bridges to parents and the community.

Mike Foote. Mike built DREAM from a $0 annual budget to over $2M, including through major donors, government grants, private foundations, events, contracts and more. These funds have been put to use to support you, build facilities at Camp DREAM, purchase vans to assist in transportation, support staff salaries, secure supplies and much more. Mike has also directed fundraising campaigns for political candidates and follows a relationship-first model of fundraising.
