About the Event

Now more than ever, youth are seeking adults who can help regulate their emotions by showing and modeling possibilities for managing stress in the midst of change and uncertainty and trauma.

Facilitator: Dr. David Anderson, Child Mind Institute. Dr. Anderson is a former DREAM mentor and Camp DREAM Director, and is now the Vice President of School and Community Programs at Child Mind Institute. He is a clinical psychologist who specializes in evaluating and treating children and adolescents with ADHD, behavior, anxiety, and mood disorders. Dr. Anderson frequently lectures and leads workshops on a variety of topics for parents, educators, and policymakers, and he has contributed to television and print media for organizations such as ABC, Time, CBS, Fox, CNN, NBC, the Wall Street Journal, the Atlantic, the New York Times, and NPR.
