DREAM's Village Mentoring,

"mentoring that goes further," is a unique partnership between a low-income housing neighborhood and a college. We pair passionate and energetic college students with kids with limitless potential and provide them access to a toolkit of programs such as trips, culminating events, summer programs, camp programs, community meetings, and teen programs, as well as a great deal of adventure.

Like more traditional mentoring models, the heart of Village Mentoring is the supportive one-on-one relationship between the college student volunteer and the child. At DREAM, however, we truly embody the belief that "It takes a village to raise a child." Village Mentoring supports youth at three different levels: One-on one, Team, and Community.
